Today is a snow day and I'm so thankful for that as our calendar has kept us hopping lately...
In between basketball games and basketball practices we've been:{doing laundry (of course...that never stops)}
{stitching some wintery goodness}
{turning nine!}
{meeting new (tall) friends}
{playing (but obviously not cleaning up)}
{knitting warmth (a new sweater for me!)}
{traveling to new places}
{investigating (thanks to a special session with our botanist friend)}
{making lists and storing away treasures}
I hope that no matter what your calendar looks like that you're able to enjoy the moments in your days. (and since a snow day always helps.... I hope one comes your way soon!)

Wow! You have been busy! I can't wait to see your sweater! It looks like tomorrow is going to be a snow day here--I hope to get some knitting in! Stay warm!
Snow days are the BEST! I love hunkering down with a fire in the fireplace, a good book on hand, some crocheting (of course) and all my kids close by. Nothing is better.
Your sweater looks lovely. You're keeping yourself very busy these days.
Beautiful snow day photos! Your sweater, cross-stitch, and SNOW are all so very pretty!
Stay warm and safe! Enjoy these special "cozy-home" moments with your sweet family...:)
XOXO Gloria
You have been very busy. I love the snowman cross stitch, I haven't done a stitched piece in years, maybe it's time to have a go at it again.
Yay for snow days for some much needed at-home time! Happy birthday to your guy - nine is a great age to be! Cannot wait to see your sweater - Love the varigated wool you're using. Stay warm and safe!
snow days are nice, although we've been having a bit too many around here. I never thought I'd say no more snow, but we've got a bad case of cabin fever here.
Looks like you and your family are filling your days nicely :)
What a bunch of awesomeness has been going on around your place! Happy birthday to your boy ... your sweater looks great ... and hooray for all the cozy winter adventures. I just love watching the seasons change in your yard ... thanks for this latest snowy photo!
Looks like you're all making memories in the busy moments! Looking forward to seeing your sweater take shape! How generous of you...a snow day?!

Half the fun of legos is having them all spread out do you can find the exact piece you need!

Hi Lisa, You and your family always have such neat things going on. Looks like this month is no exception. We are watching our three little guys for a 3 day weekend. I will be escorting to school and preschool and lots of different things. Say a prayer! :)
Love your new snowman and sweater project!
Donna
Such good days there... so much happening too! Looks like the snow isn't stopping you all! Be keeping safe, warm, happy & crafty! ;o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
Miss you Lisa. Hope we can get together at least once this year. I love your projects. I ran into my old knitting group last night at Starbucks and it was good to see the projects other people are working on. I'm still working on a baby blanket whenever I can get a few stitches in.
Much love,
Mary
Beautiful photos of a busy and varied life - I just love the one of your children playing with Lego. Such concentration and absorption!
your cross stitched snowmen are so inspiring. I would like to work on some cross stitch this year as well...lovely.
We have had a ridiculous amount of snow here this year. It is crazy. I am trying to stay indoors and keep warm. All the shoveling is not for me.
