photo dump friday

Summer is in full swing around here.  I can tell, because the weeks are flying by!  I can't believe it is Friday already....again!
Similar in nature to InstaFriday, I'm doing a photo dump to catch up on our week!  Feel free to join in if you'd like...camera photos, point and shoot or SLR....everything is welcome!  Just leave your link below and let us know what you've been up to!  I'll eventually join in all the Instagram fun but until then...

Congrats to these girls for going 7-0 in Gettysburg at the Summer Challenge!  They played awesome...7 games and wins in 3 days...needless to say they were exhausted by Sunday night!
We found this little lady by our mailbox...can you see that huge egg sack she's carrying....I can't even think about all the baby spiders that are in there!
My newest and most favorite (for now) summer arrangement...just fern leaves and hydrangeas!
Binding for my quilt top is all ready to go...scrappy and fun!
Tomatoes are coming...I can hardly wait!
My hydrangeas are blessing me everyday with their beauty...this is a grocery store one that I was given for Mother's day about 6 years ago....isn't this color amazing!!
The free planter my neighbor gave me is filling out nicely with impatiens....this is a great place to sit and watch....
.....the grass grow!  It's coming up nicely and I think it's time for a mow.
This peacock is living on our street... (I'm guessing it's a male because of the bright colors) he is just gorgeous!  He's been here now for about 5 weeks...we have no idea where he came from...we're all hoping to get a glimpse of his tail feathers all spread out!
My guy got invited to a Tin Tin birthday party....he made this card for his friend.  He drew it freehand...no tracing!  I am so amazed by his drawing ability!

That's what's been happening here...

hello monday

I'm linking up with Lisa Leonard to welcome a new week.  Here are some of the things I'm saying hello to this week:

Hello to beautiful fresh cut lilies on my dining room table...they make me smile every time I see them.
Hello to an almost finished quilt top.  It turned out a bit smaller than I liked so I'm adding a border to the outside before quilting it.  Hello to figuring out a way to make it all work!
Loving the time I got on Saturday night for working on my project 365 album....thanks to not having to run my daughter out to a dance....she drove herself!  Hello to our newest driver!  (and hello to higher insurance rates!)
Hello to a new dishcloth...just for us.  Love this cool breeze color way!
Hello to new grass slowly coming up in our front yard....I'll be happy to say goodbye to the sprinkler!
I'm loving these endless summer hydrangeas....they are gorgeous every day.  I have one pink/purple and one blue...right beside each other!
Welcome summer...especially with our new !!red!! umbrellas and flag.  The deck is my favorite room in the summer.  I could spend all day out there!
Hello to a new chalkboard for my kitchen...super easy and fun!  I just painted the inside of a frame with chalkboard paint and painted the frame a happy color!
Hello to cooking dinner with my Kenzie love...we made this corn casserole, quinoa salad, hamburgers, and blackberry cobbler.  So fun to work alongside of her!  Even more fun to eat what we created!
