summer savors, new starts

Lingering over early morning summer knitting....
and enjoying the fleeting views of summer.
My savoring of summer seems to have been as short as the last week itself...I found myself so busy enjoying that I didn't do very well at sharing. (sorry!)  And then, all of a sudden I find myself at the end and the beginning....school starts tomorrow.  Have a wonderful end to your summer and a great beginning to the beauty that the next season brings.  (I'll be back with knitting soon!)

Time does have a way of disappearing! Better that you savored it with the family than spending time in front of the computer. Definitely. Good luck with school tomorrow. We're still two weeks away (thank goodness). But, it's off to college for child #1 on Friday. Your yarn looks yummy.

looks like you've been savoring with a few of your favorite things. can't wait to see the knitting update! it' looks awesome!!

blessings to you and the kids as you begin another year. I can't help remembering your start to homeschooling and your approach to "take it one year at a time." an now look at you...many follow your lead, admire your approach, want to duplicate your school. blessings all around.

love you to the moon and back...

That peek of your knitting looks lovely, Lisa...I like the stripe-thing going on! This time of year is exciting. And I've so often thought that autumn should be the real New Year--since there are so many new beginnings and starts now. Wishing you all a great new school year full of discovery, challenges and fun too. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

What pretty yarn! Can't wait to see what lovely thing you're creating.
And love the photo of the geese (?). Sometimes, I wish I could migrate to the north during our hot summers ;-).
Blessings,
G
