hello monday

I'm linking up with Lisa Leonard to welcome a new week.  Here are some of the things I'm saying hello to this week:

Hello to beautiful fresh cut lilies on my dining room table...they make me smile every time I see them.
Hello to an almost finished quilt top.  It turned out a bit smaller than I liked so I'm adding a border to the outside before quilting it.  Hello to figuring out a way to make it all work!
Loving the time I got on Saturday night for working on my project 365 album....thanks to not having to run my daughter out to a dance....she drove herself!  Hello to our newest driver!  (and hello to higher insurance rates!)
Hello to a new dishcloth...just for us.  Love this cool breeze color way!
Hello to new grass slowly coming up in our front yard....I'll be happy to say goodbye to the sprinkler!
I'm loving these endless summer hydrangeas....they are gorgeous every day.  I have one pink/purple and one blue...right beside each other!
Welcome summer...especially with our new !!red!! umbrellas and flag.  The deck is my favorite room in the summer.  I could spend all day out there!
Hello to a new chalkboard for my kitchen...super easy and fun!  I just painted the inside of a frame with chalkboard paint and painted the frame a happy color!
Hello to cooking dinner with my Kenzie love...we made this corn casserole, quinoa salad, hamburgers, and blackberry cobbler.  So fun to work alongside of her!  Even more fun to eat what we created!

We have those same umbrellas on our back patio!! Love the red... and the deck is my favorite room in the summer also. I get so excited when it gets warm enough to get everything out for summer!

What fun! I enjoyed my visit with you, and seeing some of your latest creative projects! So far we are having a sunny Monday in the Portland, OR area, and our family is celebrating the safe arrival of a new baby girl!
Joy to you and yours...even with the higher insurance rates :)

Is that scrapbooking and newspaper clipings along with your 365? Love how you're telling such a beautiful and complete story! Love your umbrellas - I used to decorate with red all the time. This time I wanted to try mostly neutrals in my home but I miss the red. Have a wonderful week!

Such goodness! What a beautiful quilt top with such great colors! You are really good at picking colors. And I do love your red umbrellas very much. Deck sitting is a favorite thing to do, too, or in my case, back porch sitting. One day we will build a deck here.

You're giving me hydrangea envy. I have one little plant that can only muster up one bloom per year!

Love the umbrellas, too!

Happy Summer!

I am a whole week behind (it's been a little bit crazy here!). What beautiful photos and things to enjoy. Here in Aberdeen it is very cold (in the 40s) and rainy, so your deck looks like a dream to me!

I've been enjoying our blue hydrangeas. I cut a few and brought inside to look at them more. It would be great to catch up with you this summer if there's a moment.
