Similar in nature to InstaFriday, I'm doing a photo dump to catch up on our week! Feel free to join in if you'd like...camera photos, point and shoot or SLR....everything is welcome! Just leave your link below and let us know what you've been up to! I'll eventually join in all the Instagram fun but until then...
Congrats to these girls for going 7-0 in Gettysburg at the Summer Challenge! They played awesome...7 games and wins in 3 days...needless to say they were exhausted by Sunday night!
We found this little lady by our mailbox...can you see that huge egg sack she's carrying....I can't even think about all the baby spiders that are in there! My newest and most favorite (for now) summer arrangement...just fern leaves and hydrangeas!
Binding for my quilt top is all ready to go...scrappy and fun!
Tomatoes are coming...I can hardly wait!
My hydrangeas are blessing me everyday with their beauty...this is a grocery store one that I was given for Mother's day about 6 years ago....isn't this color amazing!!
The free planter my neighbor gave me is filling out nicely with impatiens....this is a great place to sit and watch....
.....the grass grow! It's coming up nicely and I think it's time for a mow.
This peacock is living on our street... (I'm guessing it's a male because of the bright colors) he is just gorgeous! He's been here now for about 5 weeks...we have no idea where he came from...we're all hoping to get a glimpse of his tail feathers all spread out!
My guy got invited to a Tin Tin birthday party....he made this card for his friend. He drew it freehand...no tracing! I am so amazed by his drawing ability!
That's what's been happening here...

I loved every single picture except for that spider! I have a serious case of the willies now!
That peacock is magnificent!
The spider did give me pause...but you got a beautiful photo of her and your flowers and quilt and peacock and team:) Thanks for the glimpses into your week!
We had two days of warmth and sunshine near Portland, OR, this week, but I am going to stop typing and put on a sweater because it is cool with showers today. Our tomato plants look almost exactly the same as when we planted them weeks ago...sigh :)
Happy Summer!
Gracie <3
Love pictures of your outdoor spaces. I'm starting over at the new house - hope to get some shrubs in this fall but the deer eat everything around here so i'll have to choose wisely.Your guy is so talented - what awesome artwork! Have a great weekend!
Wow that's a huge spider! Do you know what kind it is? I've never seen an egg sack before so that's quite a photo you were able to get. I'll be the Dept. of Natural Resources folk would appreciate a picture like that. I read a month ago how they have someone compiling statistics on critters in our area.
I really like your photos - and the spider one too. They also have a purpose to serve. I also love your open space in the garden - lucky peacock.
Congrats to the girls and kudos to your son with such excellent drawing abilities! That is GOOD. That egg sack.....YIKES. o_O
holy smokes that spider is huge. it took me a bit to go on with your post after seeing that image ;o)
The tintin drawing was amazing. I just found my old Tintin books while visiting my mom and i plan on taking them all back to the US.
I am glad you had such a wonderful week
Other than the spider you had a great week. I'm in shock about how time is flying by.I was going to be so good about posting and here another week is gone.
A GREAT week there, Lisa! Gettysburg... just a stone's throw from my hometown. ;o) BIG congrats to the girls on their wins! Beautiful flora and fauna there... Expect perhaps the GIANT spider. I did have and eeekkk moment seeing that...LOL! The thought of all those baby spiders does give me the creeps. I confess to not liking that part in Charlotte's Web when all the babies were born...*cringe*... LOL...Happy Summer days to you all ((HUGS))
okay, I'm with others...that spider. I could not have taken that photo! Looks like the summer is full of blessings!! enjoy each and every one.
Looks like a great week! That spider though....Yikes!!
That is a lot of goodness in one place! Looks like you are having a beautiful summer.
Holy moly - I'm glad that spider isn't near my house! There are probably a few gigantic ones around but until I see them I can reamin blissfully unaware.
