hello monday

This week I'm linking up with Lisa Leonard to welcome a brand new week with some of my favorite things from last week:

Hello to our third bag of oranges....they've been on sale at the market and we are loving the sweet juiciness of them!  I don't think we've ever eaten this many oranges at one time.

Hello to cookies baking in the house...thanks to my sweet daughter Kenzie!  She's a baker extraordinaire!

Hello to windows open and sweet scented breezes blowing in....love those lilacs!

Hello to bringing lilacs inside too!  These are Miss Kim Lilacs and they smell heavenly!

Hello to the space shuttle Enterprise as it flew over our house....it was very exciting!

Hello to special friends coming in for a sweet spot in our weekend....it was a wonderful catch up time...not long enough, but cherished nonetheless.....and what friends they are!... cheering in the freezing cold at Jammer's little league game!

Hello to baseball season!  On Saturday we froze....on Sunday we got sunburns!  Crazy! (and hello to my first movie clip on the blog....lots of cheering as our guy got a hit!)

Hello to my slowly growing pile of granny square goodness!

Hello to a brand new week....what about you?  What are you saying hello to this week?

Hello there! Lovely to see a post from you. This week we are hopeful for more steps being taken in helping us to care for our daughter (who is doing okay but has missed 8 months of school now with ME/Chronic Fatigue). I'm mostly just taking one day at a time, and I'm so thankful for all the many blessings we have.

Your past week looks like good fun. The lilacs in Aberdeen have miniature buds on them - I can't wait until they really flower. Lilac is one of my most favourite smells on earth! Enjoy yours.

Hello to blogging after a 2 week hiatus! Hello to the sound of the lawn mower... woo hoo!!

Congrats to your little league-er. Oh, I remember those (cold) days!.

Blessings, Debbie

Thanks for sharing your week. I say "hello" and the next minute it's "goodbye" to the week - goes too quickly. This must mean I should sit and watch and "smell the lilacs" and just take in the day, rather than rush. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Hello to you - and hello to Kristyn! We baked cookies this weekend too. Either your counters are short or Kenzie is so very tall - you have such beautiful kiddos Lisa. Love all those yummy granny squares. I miss you and will be back here very soon!

Your week was full of Good Things. Those oranges look wonderful and I wish I knew more about lilacs. I'm guessing they must not do well in Texas. Our week is off to a good start with a picnic with our homeschooling group and tomorrow we are trekking to the art museum.

Such sweet days, Lisa! We've been on a orange kick since Christmas. Now we're eating them with early strawberries. This week I'm back to blogging, creating and all sorts after some days away. It's lovely to catch up with you. :o) ((HUGS))

Very cool about the Enterprise flying over your house. And what fun for you to have Kristyn visit. Looks like it was a good week.

Such goodness in your house! So thankful we were able to stop in for a quick visit. Need a copy of that photo...another to add to my collection of us. xoxo
