I'm loving....

It's the simple things that make me smile....
My favorite afternoon treat - iced coffee.  I used Pioneer Woman's recipe.  I like mine with breve and Truvia. ( I learned that breve is the cool way to say "half and half"...the Starbucks barista got me up to speed this week with java lingo.)  Anyways, this iced coffee is fabulous and I highly recommend you keep a stash in the fridge.
Speaking of the fridge, I am loving my new juice pitchers...they fit my top shelf perfectly without hogging up the whole thing.  I got them at The Container Store.  That whole store made me smile!  (That container with the blue lid is my coffee concentration - yum!!)
I've been organizing and tidying up my drawers and closets and that in itself just makes me grin from ear to ear.
Working my way through Emma - she's a hoot.... I think I know some of the people in this book - for real!
Centipede on my ipad.  I love the game, but I hate those spiders...every time one gets me, I have to holler at them.
My new perfume - Le Bohemian from American Eagle...and that card from K made my day....mail from a good friend always makes me smile.
New school calendar/organizers....for $1 each. (one for each of my kids)   I'm not ready to really think about school, but I can always get happy about new school supplies.
Fun, summer nail polish...Kenzie and I got these on vacation and the Fruitie Patootie is my favorite, although the orange is on my toes right now.
How bout you?  What's got you grinning?  Whatever it is, I hope your days are full of summer smiles!

I want to try the iced coffee like that, but I am trying to figure out how to make it Weight Watcher friendly. It would be the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. I wish I could scratch and sniff your new perfume. =)

I want an iced coffee so badly, I think I will make that summer treat happen today! I've always loved back to school supplies, even in summer :)

I love your list of smiles! A couple of weeks ago, I tried Pioneer Woman's iced coffee recipe too. Mmmm, mmm. It made me smile too! I've been holding off on making more, though until after Sweet Pea arrives; too much caffeine isn't good for me.

A few things that have me smiling today are little boys peacefully napping, an awesome yard saled vintage lamp for $1, a sweet husband who is willing to put up with said lamp though it's not really his taste, fresh butter lettuce from the farmer's market, seeing friends while out and about, cool basements, and nice, roomy t-shirts.

That ice coffee would have me grinning too, as well as those nail colors! Now Austin, you can help but grin. :)

Oh, that iced coffee looks so refreshing! I've not had that in a while. Been more iced tea lately. I like the happy that weaves through this post, Lisa. This past weekend was a hard on here in Norway, after some tragedy struck. But trying to smile again. Today being in touch with friends has the smiles returning. :o) ((HUGS))

Your list made me smile!! Maybe I'll go buy some fruitie patootie and paint my toenails (though I did love your orange too)! I think it would be a better bet for making me smile than organizing my kitchen. Actually, what would make me smile is if someone else would come organize my kitchen!!

Blessings, Debbie

Now, take today's leftover coffee and make COFFEE CUBES. Your iced coffee will be even better when it isn't watered down. I've been doing it this summer and it's wonderful!

Such great stuff! I love the Container Store, too. There's nothing like a newly organized closet. :)

Summer is a great time for organising. My husband and I were saying there's something about all the light that makes it more appealing.
My summer pleasures have been: reading, writing in my diary, going to art galleries, just hanging out with the family.

I have Emma on my must read list. I love the Container Store. They have the most wonderful storage. I need to give this iced coffee a try. I have been seeing it everywhere. I like to organize closets and drawers during the summer, too.

I just saw that recipe (must be the season for iced coffee) and bookmarked it to try it out! Love the container store (only been 1x - bought some food storage for bulk) ~ must go back! Seeing everything neat and organized is so nice.
