home sweet home

We're back from our trip....THANK YOU ALL for all the wonderful wishes. The girls did extremely well. They didn't pull out a championship upset like they all dreamed of, but they played their hardest and represented themselves with dignity. We slept little, laughed much and cheered our hearts out. It was a great experience for all of the girls. They're already making plans for next year's trip! But, it is good to be home. I'm unloading bags of clothes that need to be washed and making grocery lists. I'm also tending to my middle one who brought home a fever. But, I wanted to pop in and say thanks for all the love you sent our way, it really was so much appreciated. If you want to read more from the trip and see additional pictures, you can find them here.

thanks for your expert reporting at the warrior blog. it was great to keep in touch with their results. and while we certainly share in their disappointment over the digits on the scoreboard, we are proud of their results on the court. you and john are great parents to care and sacrifice so much for your warriors. and please tell your middle one that we love her, but the "s" she needs to bring home next year, is "s"ouveniers, not "s"ickness. praying that she feels better.

I know this is forever since you put this post up but I was looking at the pic of Maggie and that led me to the post and I just had to comment on the teams post!!! lol =) We did awesome down there and even if we didnt get the trophey we wanted we won 2 way more important things in life.....a closer relationship with Jesus through having a good attitude when times are tough and gaining a closer relationship with each other which will last a life time....way more important than a trophey that just collects dust. Thanks for everything you did down there!!!! =)
