flying by faster than I can...

These summer days are flying by faster than I can frog a baby sleeve...
...which I had to do last night.  I totally skipped the direction that mentioned casting off three stitches for the next two rows on my second sleeve.  That made attaching the sleeve to the body quite tricky.  I'm knitting the Raglan Baby Sweater by Debbie Bliss.  It was going along great and I was seaming my sleeves to my fronts and backs.  When I went to seam the second sleeve, I realized I didn't have the angular little corner that I needed to make the seams join accurately.  Rip, Rip went my second sleeve...and I'm working on re-knitting it according to the directions.
I did however, successfully finish a second Pretty Baby Sweater.  This one is knit in Universal Yarns Worsted.  The color is Primrose and it is my favorite baby yellow.  After purchasing a second skein of yarn, I've got enough to knit up a baby hat as well.  These baby sweaters are fun and fast, which fit these summer days perfectly.
Hope your summer days are filled with great things and that your needles are always full of stitches....whatcha knitting now?

I wish I had some babies to knit for, too! The sweaters are so sweet! I'm working on cowls and mitts, and I have plans to start on some ruffle-y scarves soon!

Love the sweaters... hate the frogging! It's so frustrating having to undo all that you've done. Oh well, the more I knit the more I get used to the fact that it's just part of the process.

Blessings, Debbie

Sigh! Well at least it was just a baby sleeve and not a bigger one. Your baby knits are lovely. I'm knitting a p/hop pattern (pennies per hour of pleasure, Medecins Sans Frontieres fundraiser). It's a pair of lacy mitts. I'm using tiny wooden dpns, like knitting on dull toothpicks, but they really are great!

Re. time flying, if it makes you feel any better today was my daughter's last day of school.

They're both so beautiful! I very much admire your knitting skills. :D Sorry about the ripping out, though...redoing is always a pain.

Oh, so sweet... that blue is lovely, and I love that lemon-buttermilk-yellow cardi... such pretty details! Pity about the frogging...*sigh*... At the moment I'm knitting a vest for my 2 year old niece--actually in similar blue to yours here. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
