y is for yarn

I'm typically a one project gal.  I like to knit one thing at a time.  I figure that my chances of finishing a project are increased exponentially if it is the only thing I'm knitting.  However, I have three items that I'm currently working on.  Don't ask me how that happened.  I have no idea.  Obviously, my self control is lacking at the present.
In my knitting bag:
gaia shoulder hug #2
a dropped stitch scarf (pattern compliments of Kristyn)
a super sweet baby sweater (pattern compliments of Beth)
What this means is that I won't have any knitting to show for a while and then all of a sudden I'll look like I'm cranking out the handknits.  Feast or famine.  Actually, this weekend should bring some significant progress to my projects.  John and I are headed over to Morgantown for the West Virginia/Syracuse game and I'll be knitting my way over the mountains. I won't be able to knit during the game...I'm way too into the action. (sorry Jodi, I'll be cheering for the Mountaineers!)  In the meantime, I'll keep rotating my projects and adding more items to my queque on Ravelry. oh. And making dinner and doing laundry..... What's in your knitting bag?

Oh Lisa -- I'll still be your friend. But go ORANGE! I love all your projects. Your color choices are stupendous! Love them.

All three are awesome projects, and your stitches are perfect!! Can't wait to see them completed one by one. Enjoy the time with John stitch by stitch. Mark will be cheering WVU on this weekend! I hope we get to see you on tv.

I like all of your projects, but I especially love the drop stitch scarf. I think that I might even be able to attempt it with my skimpy little knitting skills!

Look at all this goodness! I hope you have a wonderful trip to Morgantown ... with plenty of time to knit along the way :-)

Oh, it must be so clearing for the mind, though, to usually just have one project going on at a time.
They look like they are coming along beautifully.

Ooo... lots of lovelies, Lisa--especially that drop-stitch scarf and its variegated yarn! I think I must try one of those! I tend to work on at least two projects of any kind at once--be it beading/jewelry, sewing, knitting, etc. I like the variety. At the moment I'm crocheting a ripple throw (very much in progress), knitting a set of spa cloths, and sewing a doll quilt. Let's see...what else can I sneak in?...;o) Happy Crafting/Happy Days ((HUGS))

Your projects are wonderful. Can you tell me what yarn that you are using for the gaia? It is very pretty.

Oh, all of your projects look beautiful! I love having 2 or 3 things going at once -- guess I'm a little ADD ;)?
Blessings,

I love all your projects. The hard part is which one to work on they are all good. I've added a touch of quilting to my crafts. I'll show yo soon!

I am usually a one project gal too but sometimes there are just too many things I want to work on :). Hope you have a lovely weekend and I can't wait to see some of those projects when they are finished.

Love all the gorgeous shades of blue that you chose. The baby sweater is the perfect "baby boy blue." Hope you had a great weekend with your guy.

yep - feast or famine just about sums up the knitting here too! You do have some fab projects on the go though so we can let you off for a short while!

Hi Lisa! I'm home sick today and so used the time in bed to work on knitting a checkerboard baby blanket. Glad to catch up on reading blog posts.
