a whirlwind

It's been a busy week and a half around these parts....too much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done.  I'm not complaining, just statin' the facts.  One would think that as the school activities and classes wind down, life would as well.  But this winding down has not been evident in our neck of the woods....I think a vortex has occurred that has actually increased the dynamic speed of our lives.  However fast life's been coming, it's all good as we've been:

*enjoying the new colors and blooms around the house

* photographing graduates as they prepare for the future

*having lunch with a special friend in a beautiful setting

*watching my guy perform at the final CBS class day....he actually talked in the microphone...he did great!

*planning and planting new beds as the past winter was really hard on my rhodies...(more pictures later)

*getting away with my honey for a weekend of planning & recharging

*purchasing next year's curriculum....whew!

*celebrating mother's day with my favorite moms and girls
I hope things in your neck of the woods find you enjoying all that life throws your way! No matter how slow or fast it's coming at you....enjoy every moment.

Wow--you are getting alot done! I'm convinced that the end of the school year pace becomes so frantic in order to make us grateful for those long summer days when we don't have anywhere to be!

Happy Mother's Day! I know exactly what you mean about not enough hours in the day ... my blog is the first thing to reflect my reality's chaos :-)

Thanks for the update!

It does get so busy at the end of a school year!
It sounds like there is joy in the midst of it all. God is good in the blessings department!
I hope your Mother's Day was a happy one...:)

I think that everyone's lives speed up as the weather warms up; there's just so much more outside stuff to do, and the inside stuff doesn't abate. As always, I love you photos. It looks like you've been a good kind of busy.

You've been busy....I can barely keep up with the garden these days. If nothing else, the weeds are growing like crazy! I'm glad you got to spend Mother's Day with the generations.

Beautiful photo of you and your girls and moms! Happy Mother's Day to you. Wow, you are getting so much done. I've been super busy too but my yard is full of weeds and i just want to stay indoors where the pollen isn't so terrible. Good for you for finding the time to get away with your husband. Love how you are able to achieve balance in your busy life.

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! May does seem to rival December in terms of busyness over here as well :)

All those activities are proof of a full and well lived life. LOVE the photo of all the girls. I'm thinking you may have found the perfect Christmas gift for each one...a framed copy in a special frame. check. check.

I have got to do that soon myself - purchase next year's curriculum! (Do you use a packaged curriculum or put together your own? I just wondered because I see a few in that stack that we will be using this coming year as well.) Thanks for the reminder to get on it.

This always seems to be a very full time of year. Even more so than the holidays.
