Just poppin in...

It's been one basketball game after another around here...I'm not kidding you...we had 7 games this week alone.  (so far we're 3 for 5) Whew!  It's been fun, but between basketball, blogging about basketball, a special 8 year old's birthday, school and family...I've just not had time to be here in this space.  Hopefully next week I'll be able to show you some snappy new stuff that I'm finishing up.  In the meantime, enjoy your weekend!  We'll be at basketball games tomorrow. (of course you probably guessed that!)

I see the sun was shining in your world this week. Here too. And it felt so good! You're a good mom going to all those games. Did you bring your knitting along with you? I stood for three hours at my daughter's track meet on Sunday in a very chilly field house. There were no bleachers to sit on....I wanted so much to be crocheting under an afghan right about then. And here's the kicker -- my daughter competed in the second to last event -- the 300 meters (which took less than 70 seconds). But it's what we moms do, right?

Wow! You are one busy lady. I'll bet those basketball games are perfect for working on knitting projects. : ) Looking forward to reading more.

Wow, three kiddos playing basketball - you are one busy mama! that's a very nice basketball blog you got there - do you write all the entries and take all the photos? Happy Birthday once again to JS! Can't wait to see what you're finishing up. And I totally think it would be appropriate to wear a cute apron to basketball games. I wear mine each afternoon to the bus stop to pick up my kiddos. all the other moms think i'm weird but i'm sure they secretly wish they had a cute apron too.

I am not ready for the sport season when I have all three kids participating! The closest I get is spring, when I have two in dance and one in teeball. Of course at least one kid is campaigning to add spring soccer to the schedule, so I figure I should enjoy the relative down-time that winter offers, because once April rolls around, the minivan will be going nonstop!

The good thing about sitting through practices and games is that it provides plenty of knitting time, and I can't wait to see what you've been up to!

I just breahted another sigh of relief that my son decided not to do basketball... I can't handle being that busy through the winter!
Soccer in the fall is enough for me!

Have fun with your projects-

Oh boy! I know just how those weekends are. First it was sports, but now it is music - so now I take them for piano and more piano.

It is fun to take sewing of some kind to keep you occupied :)

Blessings,

Maria
