John and I got away to Lancaster for a short anniversary overnight. (Thanks to all the grandparents who helped with the kiddos so we could have some time together....alone. without any kids. or dog!) We had a great time together. So glad we took the time to get away! Here are some of my favorite shots from the weekend!
The biggest blessing is knowing that we still love and enjoy each other after 19 years and we're both looking forward to many more years together! Happy Anniversary sweetheart!

I love you! You are the best wife a man could hope or ask for. I am so glad you said yes. I know I am not the easiest man to get along with and at times I bring more disappointment than blessing but I am so blessed by you and the blessing you are to me as a wife. Happy Anniversary Honey!
Congratulations on the anniversary and the getaway. That's something we didn't do--get away by ourselves, but life is still great together after 43+years.

Happy Anniversary! Great pictures too.
I am originally from York County, PA...so Lancaster was also my playground--love it there. I am now living in Norway, Norther Europe...So your post was like a taste of home. :o) Happy Anniversary to you & your hubby. You have such a lovely blog. Found you via Cathleen of My Sewing Serenity. Happy Summer Days to you & yours!
Congrats on the anniversary. What a great place to get away to- Lancaster. Was there a year and a half ago- not alone on a romantic week-end , but with 4 adults and 6 kids!!! I love the romantic scenary among the amish people and their friendlyness. Their farms set me back to my childhood- as I grew up in nothern Norway- and my dad came from a farm driven the same way as the amish ones. Love it
